OSREM Global Communications Inc. (“OSREM GCI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, candidates, employees, and users of our platforms. In compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, we adopt the highest standards in handling your personal data to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability at all times.​

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect and process personal information that is necessary and relevant to our BPO, RPO, and job portal operations, including but not limited to:

  • Job Seekers and Candidates: Full name, contact details, resumes, employment history, educational background, references, and other information provided during applications.

  • Clients: Business name, contact details, billing information, and service-related data.

  • Employees: Personal data necessary for HR and payroll purposes, performance management, and compliance with labor requirements.

  • Website & Job Portal Users: IP addresses, browser type, device information, cookies, and usage activity.

2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

We process your data to:

  • Deliver BPO services, including inbound, email, and chat support for industries such as telco, travel, retail, and online learning.

  • Provide RPO services, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and recruitment, through our job portal, Happee Antz.

  • Improve our platforms and tailor our services to your needs.

  • Manage client relationships, contracts, and service delivery.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following cases:

  • With clients, for recruitment and outsourcing purposes, upon your consent.

  • With trusted service providers or business partners who support our operations (e.g., IT services, payment processing, payroll).

  • When required by law, court order, or government regulation.

  • During mergers, acquisitions, or business restructuring, in which case you will be notified.

4. DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY MEASURES

In compliance with the Data Privacy Act, we implement organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data, including:

  • Secure servers, firewalls, and encryption.

  • Restricted access to authorized personnel only.

  • Regular privacy and security training for employees.

  • Incident response protocols in case of data breaches.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as it is necessary to achieve the specific, legitimate, and declared purposes for which it was collected, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations. This may include retaining data for the duration of a business relationship, for the period necessary to comply with contractual obligations, or for the time required to meet legal, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Once the applicable retention period has lapsed, and the information is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, we implement secure disposal procedures. These include permanent deletion of electronic records, secure wiping of storage devices, and physical destruction of hard copies to ensure that personal data cannot be reconstructed, retrieved, or misused.

In certain cases, anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for research, analytics, or service improvement purposes, provided that such data can no longer identify any individual.

6. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your data is processed.

  • Access, correct, or update your personal data.

  • Object to or restrict processing.

  • Withdraw consent (where applicable).

  • File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe your rights are violated.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER

If personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, OSREM GCI ensures that such transfers are carried out in full compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable international data protection standards. We take all necessary measures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and security of your information during cross-border transfers.

This includes requiring our foreign partners, affiliates, and service providers to implement contractual safeguards, data protection agreements, or other lawful mechanisms that uphold the same level of protection mandated by Philippine law. We also ensure that the recipient country or organization adheres to recognized international frameworks or has adequate data privacy legislation in place.

By doing so, we maintain the continuity of protection over your personal data, regardless of where it is processed, ensuring that your rights as a data subject remain fully respected and upheld at all times.

8. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may revise or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or to comply with new legal, regulatory, or industry requirements. Any modifications will be posted on our official website and will take effect immediately upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Each updated version will include a revised effective date so you can easily identify the most current version.

We encourage all clients, employees, job seekers, and users of our platforms to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about how we safeguard and handle personal data. In cases of significant changes that may affect your rights or the way we process your information, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as through email, platform notifications, or official announcements.

By continuing to use our services after updates have been made, you acknowledge and agree to the revised terms of this Privacy Policy.
